Overview
이지은 (b.1991)은 일상의 순간, 여행지에서의 기억, 상상 속 장면들을 포착한 꿈결 같은 캔버스를 선보인다. 다채로운 색감과 이야기적 구성을 통해 대형 작품 속에 감정을 담아내며, 상상의 인물이 캔버스 안에서 움직이며 숨 쉬도록 표현한다. 클레이 애니메이션 제작 과정을 연상시키듯, 실제 또는 창작한 가구를 배치하여 친밀하고 몰입감 있는 공간을 구성하고, 마치 자신만의 세계를 설계하듯 그림을 완성시킨다. 그녀의 작품은 영화의 한 장면이나 만화 속 한 컷처럼 이야기를 만들어가는 데 중점을 두며, 환상과 현실을 섞어 고요함과 경이로움을 불러일으킨다. 그녀가 사랑하는 반려견과 함께하며, 매일의 경험과 상상 속 이야기를 생동감 있고 다채로운 시각 언어로 풀어낸다.
