Atmosphere

Kimreeaa Gallery presents Atmosphere (April 6 – May 6, 2023), a group exhibition featuring seven artists whose works explore color, light, texture, materiality, and poetic narratives across painting, sculpture, and installation. Bringing together diverse approaches within a single space, the exhibition highlights how artworks collectively shape the atmosphere of a place—its rhythm, tension, and emotional temperature.

The participating artists engage with themes ranging from labor-intensive mark-making and material assemblage to abstracted natural energies and reinterpretations of Korean architectural and craft traditions. Their works—spanning flat and three-dimensional forms—interact to create a multi-layered environment where individual sensibilities resonate with one another.

Atmosphere invites visitors to experience art not only visually but sensorially, encountering how different materials, forms, and gestures come together to transform the space into an immersive, emotive field.
