Kim Younghyun Korean

Kim Younghyun (b. 1997) creates paintings that depict unfamiliar and intriguing scenes born from his imagination. Her worlds follow their own logic, distinct from familiar symbols or established orders, and for her, creation is both the process of making non-existent worlds visible and a source of delight. In an age where everything is recorded and verified, she continues to question whether mystery can still exist, exploring this through his work. Kim Younghyun received her BFA in Oriental Painting from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 2022, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Oriental Painting at the same institution.
