2022 KIAF SEOUL

Kimreeaa Gallery is pleased to present a solo showcase of artist Hwang  Do You at KIAF 2022, taking place at COEX from April 16 to 20.

For nearly a decade, Hwang has developed her ongoing Alice in Wonderland series, expanding its visual world through a refined yet ever-evolving expressive language. Although she repeatedly engages with the same subject, each work reveals a deepened exploration of painterly technique—concise yet powerful strokes layered with luminous, almost magical colors.

Hwang’s Alice in Wonderland, rendered through these vivid hues and dynamic gestures, invites viewers into a dreamlike realm where the familiar becomes enchantingly strange. We look forward to presenting this captivating body of work in a focused and immersive setting at this year’s fair.
